The Match MG edition features a tailored version of PUMA's SPEEDSYSTEM soleplate for superior traction and propulsion on hard ground and artificial turf. Developed following extensive research into the efficiencies of accelerating, braking, and cutting on the football pitch, the new plate's equipped with rounded studs arranged to make you quicker off the mark and when changing direction. At the heel, there are extra studs closer to the middle - tests showed that having studs on the centreline is more effective for braking, perfect for surprising opponents with sudden stops.
